If you have no desire for people to find your business, products or services then I really would have to agree that you don't need to market it. You may have a very successful marketing campaign based on other media formats that advertises your website prolifically and everyone will remember the URL very easily when they want to look you up.
OK, now I have managed to convince a huge majority of SME business owners that marketing your website may be of some value. I can already hear some of you asking - "But just because I have a web address they will find me anyhow?". Sorry but not necessarily and it is highly likely that they never will. At the end of the day "You don't know what you don't know"
And how does this apply - quite simply - no one knows to search for your products or business if they don't know you exist, your produce them or sell them. They will however most probably find one of your competitors.
